This policy explains how we collect and use personal data when you visit renocyprus.com, contact us on WhatsApp or by phone, or send us your details through an advertising lead form on Facebook or Instagram.

1. What data we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, phone number, email address.
- Project details: property type, city or area, size in m², budget, preferred start date, photos or floor plans you send.
- Messages you exchange with us on WhatsApp, Messenger, SMS, phone or email.
- Lead form data from Meta (Facebook / Instagram) ads, which Meta passes to us when you submit a form.
- Technical data collected automatically by our website and Google Ads: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and clicks on contact buttons (see section 5).
The estimate form on our website does not store anything on our server: it prepares a WhatsApp message that you choose whether to send.
2. Why we use it and on what legal basis
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare an estimate and arrange a site visit — steps taken at your request before a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To carry out and support the renovation works under a contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To keep accounting, tax and contract records required by Cypriot law (Art. 6(1)(c)).
- To measure the effectiveness of our advertising — our legitimate interest, or your consent where the law requires it (Art. 6(1)(f) / 6(1)(a)).
We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for automated decision-making.
3. Who we share it with
- Service providers that help us operate: Meta Platforms (WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, lead forms), Google (Google Ads conversion measurement), Netlify (website hosting).
- Public authorities, where we are legally obliged to.
Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case the transfer relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision (for example the EU–US Data Privacy Framework).
4. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a contract: up to 24 months after the last contact.
- Clients: for the duration of the contract and warranty, and then for as long as Cypriot tax and accounting law requires (generally 7 years).
5. Cookies and advertising
Our website uses the Google Ads tag (gtag.js) to measure when a visitor who came from one of our ads contacts us (a click on WhatsApp, Telegram, phone or email, or a sent request). Advertising cookies are set only if you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. If you decline, Google Consent Mode keeps advertising cookies switched off and only anonymous, cookieless signals are sent. Your choice is stored in your browser for 12 months; you can change it at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page. Your browser also stores your chosen site language. You can manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com and in your Facebook / Instagram ad preferences.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask us to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, or receive it in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Write to ceo@eliontech.eu and we will reply within one month.
7. Security
Access to client data is limited to the people who work on your enquiry or project. We use the security features of the services listed above, including end-to-end encryption in WhatsApp.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
